Chelsea today (Friday) confirmed the departure of Andreas Christensen on a free transfer after spending 10 years at the club.
Chelsea announced Christensen departure in a Statement released on their official website on Friday.
Alongside Danny Drink water, are on the list of released players submitted to the premier league..
The Danish international is being linked with a move to FC Barcelona.
A statement from Chelsea Said: Andreas Christensen contract expires this summer, bringing to an end his 10 year's as a Chelsea player, during Which he graduated from our Academy and subsequently secured a regular place in our senior squad, playing 161games.
Wining the FA Cup, Europa League, UEFA Super Cup,FIFA Club Word Cup and the Champions league.
Christensen Chelsea career began in 2012 after his arrival from Brondby in his native Denmark. He enjoyed instant success in the Academy, reaching two finals in his first season and wining two trophies. The FA Youth Cup and the Under- 21 Premier league in his second season.
After his 17th birthday he was named on the bench for the final game of the 2012/2013 Premier league campaign, a win against Everton , and he was then involved in a post- season tour to USA.
His involvement with Jose Mourinho stepped up in 2014/2015 and Christensen was handed his Chelsea debut in a fourth-Round League Cup victory at Shrewsbury.
He played the full 90 minutes at the Right-back , in the FA Cup fourth round against Bradford.
Andrea Christensen continued to play his part with the Academy team, excelling as they won the UEFA Youth League for the first time.
