Manchester United move for Cristiano Ronaldo would be great, says Jesse Lingard.
Jesse Lingard says he would love the opportunity to play close by Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United.
The five-time FIFA Ballon d'Or victor scored 118 goals in 292 appearances in his six years with United, winning three Premier League titles and one Champions League.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to renforce the United squad this summer and,but a move for Ronaldo seems impossible, Lingard would love a chance to work with the Juventus forward.
Growing up he was only mind blowing to watch in a United shirt, so on an individual note it is astounding to play with him."
Ronaldo left United for Real Madrid in 2009 for a fees world record £80m deal and went on to turn into the Spanish club's highest record goalscorer with 450 to his name.
I would love [Manchester United] to sign [Cristiano] Ronaldo. He has been a standout amongst the best players on the planet in the course of the most recent decade,"said Lingard.
